Square Studio is a bright, private creative space owned by two photographers who truly understand the magic of good light. We’ve carefully designed this studio to capture and enhance natural light, with two large windows that flood the space with soft, glowing light throughout the day — trust us, the light here is incredible.
Nestled in a charming, historical building in the heart of Roswell, GA, the studio offers both a private sitting area (separate from the shooting space) and a white studio area perfect for photography and content creation. The sitting area is tucked away in a separate area within the studio, offering privacy and comfort for you and your clients.
Included in your rental, you’ll have access to seamless paper backdrops in various colors, as well as all the natural light that floods the space. And don’t worry — we also have bathrooms on site for your convenience. Whether you’re capturing family portraits, shooting for a branding session, or creating content, this studio provides everything you need to make your vision come to life.

Square Studio is located in the heart of historic Downtown Roswell, just steps from the iconic Roswell Square, Barrington Hall, and Roswell Mill. Tucked inside a beautifully aged brick building, the space is rich with charm and character—an elegant canvas for your creative vision. It’s a perfect location if you’re wanting to shoot indoor white studio look, but also maybe venture outdoor to capture the golden hour glow as well.
Surrounded by walkable amenities, the studio offers easy access to a thoughtfully curated mix of local favorites, including a craft coffee house, a refined taproom, a clean-eating lunch spot, and a variety of boutique shops and restaurants.

Square Studio was thoughtfully designed by photographers, for photographers. This isn’t just a rental space — it’s our own creative home where we photograph our clients every week. We love the light, the warmth, and the energy here so much that we wanted to make it available to other photographers and creatives when we aren’t using it ourselves.
Born from a shared vision, the studio was created to be a clean, natural-light-filled environment where creativity can thrive. With a deep understanding of how light transforms an image — and how important it is to feel inspired in your workspace — we poured intention into every detail. From the seamless paper backdrops to the cozy sitting area, every corner was designed to make it easy for you to show up, feel at home, and create your best work.

As a mom with four young kiddos, what started as Jacey’s passion for photographing her own children blossomed into a thriving business. Families are drawn to Jacey’s gift for capturing those sweet candid moments when the personalities of her subjects really shine through. Jacey has been shooting at Square Studio for over 7 years, and this space truly is her second home. Serving clients throughout north metro Atlanta, she helps families preserve cherished memories – from newborn to high school graduation, and all the precious milestones that come in between. As a local to the area and a mom herself, she brings a warm, playful energy to every session. Outside of family work, she has a deep love for editorial-style photography. You’ll have access to both suites of the studio. Seamless paper backdrops are available for an additional $25 fee (mounted on the wall). You’ll also enjoy our amazing natural light and close proximity to Barrington Hall, Bulloch Hall, and Roswell Square — perfect for combining studio and outdoor sessions (please note: the City of Roswell requires a permit for outdoor photography on city property)

Rentals start at a 1-hour minimum ($100/hr). Need more time?
Additional 30 minutes can be added for $50.
Special rates are available for half-day (4+ hours) and full-day rentals.
If you or your clients run late, extra time may be added on-site if the schedule allows.

Yes. Please bring your own camera, lighting, and gear. We do have sandbags and light stands available by request — let us know in advance if you’d like to use them so we can set them out for you. The studio has beautiful natural light throughout the day, but you’re welcome to use your own strobes/continuous lights as needed.

Yes! Please note there is no elevator and the studio is located one flight of stairs up. Be mindful when moving furniture to avoid scuffing floors or walls. Rental time includes setup and breakdown, so please plan accordingly. If you need additional time for setup/cleanup, extra time can be added to your booking.

Yes! You’re welcome to use the furniture and tables in the space. We just ask that you move items carefully, return everything to its original place before you leave, and be mindful of our original hardwood floors. Since we’re always updating and adding new pieces, the layout and furniture may change over time — feel free to get creative while respecting the space!

The studio is up one flight of stairs (no elevator). Once inside, the space is all one level, with two rooms separated by a door.

Yes! Free parking is available directly outside of the building - there are several free public lots within walking distance.

Lighting shifts throughout the year. We’ll share current light patterns on our Instagram and let you know if your requested time isn’t ideal for natural light. Generally, the studio photographs beautifully from sun-up to sun-down.

Email info@squarestudioroswell.com with your desired date and time. We’ll confirm availability and send an invoice. Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your rental.

Studio rentals are non-refundable. One reschedule is allowed with at least 72 hours’ notice, subject to availability. The new date must be booked within 3 months. If the studio must cancel for any reason, you’ll receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.

The space works beautifully for newborn, family, boudoir, headshots, branding, maternity, engagement, and creative sessions.

Yes! We kindly ask that you leave the studio as you found it so the next creative can enjoy a clean space. This means resetting furniture, removing props, disposing of trash, and sweeping up anything extra (like confetti or glitter). For cake smashes, please bring something to place under the cake to protect the floors — icing loves to sneak into the cracks! Thank you for helping us keep the studio beautiful for everyone.
